Welcome to the Indoor
Water Conservation Program
Buy water-saving products and save! What HETs qualify? What clothes washers qualify?
Did you know that toilets and clothes washers are your home’s largest water wasters? To help reduce your water use, Spokane County and the City of Spokane are offering $100 rebates each for purchasing and installing WaterSense high efficiency toilets (HETs) and ENERGY STAR® qualified clothes washers purchased between August 1st, 2009 – December 31st, 2010.

WaterSense, a program sponsored by the U.S. EPA, helps you choose high-performance, water-efficient toilets. WaterSense HETs use 20% less water than standard toilets – less than 1.3 gallons per flush – without sacrificing flushing power and performance.

ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers dramatically reduce water use – approximately 50% less water per load! The washers also help you reduce your energy use and save wear-and-tear on your clothing.

City of Spokane Sewer Customers: The City 2010 Program is currently under negotiation with the Program Administrator, Ecos Consulting. During this time the Program will be delayed in processing rebates. New Program information will be available by January 31st, 2010. If you have any questions about your purchase and rebate eligibility, please step through our quick and easy eligibility questionnaire.
